Mr. Anand Thatte is Bal Kalyan’s pillar of strength. He has served as accountant and administrator for 25 years. Putting aside other lucrative opportunities, he has dedicated his talents to social work. His interests include sports and cooking.
Mrs. Minita Patil is the manager, responsible for operations of the organization. Previously, she was the art teacher at Bal Kalyan. She has also been working here for over two decades. She helped students express their creativity and forget their cares. She found innovative ways to interest disabled children in art. The walls are covered with drawings and paintings done by the students. Most of the children don’t have the opportunity to experience the magic of art otherwise. Now she is applying her decades of experience at Bal Kalyan to taking care of the day-to-day operations. Mrs. Minita Patil has completed her Masters in Arts, and a Bachelor of Education. Her interests include painting, sports, and cooking.
Mr. Vilas More teaches painting and sculpture to the children and he also serves as an important role-model because of his own disability Mr. More has a hearing impairment. He has worked at Bal Kalyan for over ten years.
Mr. Abhijit Tambe is a swimming coach at Bal Kalyan. He has helped many children get over their fear of water and experience the joy of swimming. For some of the physically challenged kids, swimming is an important way to get exercise. For more than a decade, Mr. Tambe has worked at Bal Kalyan. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree and has participated in competitive swimming meets. His interests include sports, music and he loves delicious food.
Mr. Sunil Shinde is an attendant to the children. He has taken care of them for over fifteen yars. In his spare time, he enjoys adventure sports.

Mr. Chandrakant Nawale is a very important member of the team because he drives the children from their schools all over Pune district to Bal Kalyan. He is responsible for safely transporting them. Because Bal Kalyan cannot afford an accessible bus, Mr. Nawale and other staff members often carry the children those who are unable to climb the steps. Mr. Navale has worked at Bal Kalyan for almost a decade. His interests include sports and reading.
Mr. Ashok Nangre is the resident sports instructor. He has done his Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Commerce degrees. He enjoys traveling and adventure sports.

Mrs. Sulbha Baravkar, another fourteen-year veteran staff member teaches crafts at Bal Kalyan. The children absolutely love her class because there is so much variety! From needlework to origami, they can express themselves in different ways. Mrs. Baravkar has a Bachelor of Arts and a diploma in craft. In her spare time, she loves to read.
Mr. Dattatray Bhave has worked at Bal Kalyan for almost twenty years. He is the resident music teacher. Music is a very important part to the children who often don’t have access to instruments otherwise. Watching them in the music room, it is easy to understand why Mr. Bhave enjoys his job so much. The music makes the children happier and more carefree! Mr. Bhave has a Masters in Music. He also enjoys sports.
Mr. Sharad Kedari is responsible for security. He has worked for Bal Kalyan for almost twenty years. His hobbies include driving and instrumental music.
Mr. Vasant Tale is responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of the Bal Kalyan property. He has worked here for over a decade. He enjoys gardening in his leisure.
Mr. Dattatray Tamhane is also a driver, and he has worked for 13 years at Bal Kalyan. In his spare time, he enjoys farming and gardening.
Mrs. Aparna Panse is the dance teacher. She has a diploma in Kathak dance. She teaches Indian classical dance making innovative adjustments to this traditional art form depending on the disability of the student. Her interests include music and drama.
Mr. Geetaram Darade teaches instrumental music. He has a Master’s in Music. He has worked for Bal Kalyan for over twelve years. The children love to play the harmonium, tabla, and other Indian classical instruments.
